The Leonida Keys sit at the southern edge of the state, inspired by the Florida Keys. Official character copy places Jason Duval here: he runs jobs for local drug runners and lives on property tied to old-school smuggler Brian Heder.
The Extended Look showed boats, beaches, and the kind of island roads that make a getaway a nautical problem. Rockstar's own region text calls the waters some of the most beautiful and most dangerous in America. Expect marine activities (scuba, jet skis, fishing) to be more than set dressing — they showed up in the 26-minute gameplay montage.

Mariana County. The Florida Keys — an arc of islands linked by a single highway, from Key Largo down toward Key West and the southernmost point of the continental US.
