GTA 5 vs GTA 6

GTA V is Los Santos and Blaine County on PS3-era bones, later rebuilt. GTA 6 is Leonida, a whole Florida, with two leads and a wanted meter that goes to six. Map size is still a community estimate: about 125 km² of land, roughly 2× GTA V. Rockstar has not published a number.

The 2× claim is Rockstar talking about Leonida versus the GTA V map, and Vice City versus Los Santos. The 125 km² number is fan photogrammetry, not a press kit. Use it as a scale hint, then open the Leonida map.

What actually changed in how you play

Dual protagonists you can swap mid-chase. Cars you have to break into. Robberies with a speed-versus-value choice. A wanted meter that can hunt you without knowing your face. That is the Extended Look, not a feature list invented for search. Full breakdown: gameplay page.
