Jason Duval is one of two playable leads in Grand Theft Auto VI. Official Rockstar copy describes an army veteran raised around grifters who now runs jobs for drug runners in the Leonida Keys. He wants an easy life that keeps slipping away.
In the Extended Look he is not a silent driver for Lucia's story. The pair share jobs, a phone, a safehouse, and a relationship system that can turn romantic or stay platonic. You can switch to him almost anywhere, including mid-chase. Ignoring Lucia's texts is framed as a system with consequences, not flavor dialogue.
Jason's Keys connection also ties him to Brian Heder, the old-school smuggler who lets him live on one of his properties in exchange for odd jobs.
